David Brighton cast to portray David Bowie in upcoming Watchmen film....
David was scheduled to film a cameo as David Bowie for the 2009 Warner Bros. release.  However, due to scheduling conflicts with prior touring commitments, unfortunately David had to drop out of the film.

David and the band performed at the world famous Cow Palace for the Oracle World Appreciation Festival, with Elton John, Devo, Joan Jett and Berlin.

David Brighton's picture used instead of David Bowie's in Grammy's article...  BowieNet (David Bowie's official website) has this to say about it:  "If you thought that was actually the real DB in the shot above, don't worry, you won't have been the first to have been thrown by Mr Brighton's likeness to Mr Bowie....check this out"

The ad, filmed in New York City, is now airing in the United States, Europe and the UK.  David Brighton is pictured on the set as the Ashes to Ashes Clown, Ziggy Stardust, the Diamond Dogs era Bowie, the Thin White Duke, and the Hunky Dory era Bowie.
